Our Story

Ricky and Joan opened Ricky Rocks and Jem on Madeline Island, Lake Superior, in 2018. However, our love for rocks and gems has been a lifelong passion. Our ever amassing collection has been a long endeavor, and has been slowly curated over the years with love and a shrewd sense for quality and beauty.

We specialize in Lake Superior Agates and vintage, one of a kind jewelry- however our collection doesn’t stop there! We have stones and gems from all around the world, and other precious stones as well.
